yea but aftermarket sunroofs or moonroofs blow *****....moonroofs especially tend to be cheap, leak and break easily

yea.....the manual flip-up ones arnt too bad....they tend to hold their seal for a while....but aftermarket powered IMO are complete garbage....i used to work at a car dealer and we would get cars with aftermarket powered and they would always have issues

Your looking for trouble. Imagine cutting your roof open. No dice

has anyone on the .org done this before? I would think it would be a huge PITA, wiring, electrical, and ^^^^.....cutting the roof open wouldn't sound like fun to me.

But I say,........try it and let me know how it works out

it is, but like they all said, the fact is ur cutting up ur roof, and I guess it all depends on how good the person installing it is. because if the measurement is off, ur pretty much screwed...

well cutting the roof really isnt a problem...that have special shears and stuff designed to that stort of thing.....to do an OEM one u would want a donor car cause u would want to take everyhing from the headliner, roof, drainage and electrical to do it right

I would say live without the sunroof completely. I would actually rather not have a sunroof on either my Maxima or 240sx really (especially my 240). I hardly ever use it anymore, and the only time it comes in handy is when I open up the privacy shade/whatever to let light come through to lighten up my window tint when the 5-0 is around.

eh...I guess I should say I wish my 240 didn't have it's sunroof more. I guess I do use my sunroof, but I wouldn't go through the risk and trouble of putting in a custom one, or selling my current car because of it lacking a sunroof.
