Will these buttons be lit when I turn on the headlight?

Installed a new radio in about a week ago. Yesterday I suddenly noticed that the "OFF", "DEF", "Air recirculation", "Mode", and "Manual fan control" on my auto air conditioner were not lit when I turned on the headlight. So I had a hard time to hit the right button. Did I forget to put some wire back? Or it's just normal? It does seem weird.

Thanks...

check all the harnesses

are other interior lights lit up? which could be a problem in the way you may have wired up the illum/dimmer to the radio.

or just the shock and vibration of taking out and putting the radio in broke the filaments of those 10 year old bulbs.

All other lights work fine. The little indicating lights even light up when I hit "DEF" "air recir.". Just hate to take all those off again.... Thanks for the two posts replied.

I doubt you burn all the lights at once, it's probably a lose connector. Check them out.

Yeah. Check to make sure the harnesses are secure. That happened to me more than once.

You could have burned them all out at once, it happens. But make sure the harness is tight. If it is you need new bulbs. If you even think about spending $5 per bulb... Can get a whole set of new leds on ebay for that price.

The buttons circled by red got lit up when I turn on my headlight.
The ones circled by blue got lit up when I push them (indicating).
The ones marked with green arrows were not lit no matter what I did.

All three that I connected were marked. Two are electrical, one is for air.

I did plug all three in, and still no luck.
Maybe I really burned the all bulbs up all at once. Anyone happens to know what kind of LED these are? Surface mount, 3mm, or 5mm?

Thanks~
