i own a 97 black se maxima. I just saw the fast and the furious movie and i want my mufler to sound like the one's in the movie. I was wondering if anyone knows which brand makes that type of sound, like the one the eclipse or the supra had. Also on a different subject, i have a oem spoiler and i was wondering if that any other spoiler will fit on to my maxima. thanks, any info would be great.

 

a touring wing will fit. check out maximadriver.com and they have a spoiler subject somewhere in there

the only thing is with the spoiler i already have holes in my trunk from it. what can i do about these and will any spoiler fit to cover them up

what mufler would you suggest to make a nice low sound at idle but one that is not very loud when cruising.

 

The Stillen Muffler has a deep droning sound. As far as the holes, chances are you would have to get those filled in and painted over by a body shop.

Just have holes filled shouldn't be more than 50 bucks at a good body shop. There was a guy on here a while ago that had Lexus IS300 lights installed on the inner trunk part in place of the inside lenses, and he claims that he paid $400 for the whole thing. So you can make an estimate from that.
