cant find my catback (apexi ws2)

so it took me some time to decide this catback for my 96 maxima. then i finally tried to order, and NO ONE has it! not even on ebay. wtf is that. i even called apexi and they told me they dont know when they will have more. what kinda business is run this way?!?

and im now thinking bout just getting a greddy sp2, just to spite apexi having crappy business routines. unless someone here on the forums knows or actually has a ws2 catback for my 95/96 maxima?!?!

Yea, tell me about it. No exhaust is available for maximas anymore besides the GReddy SP2. i would have gotten it but it fits like crap. oh boy does it sound good though. i tried ordering an HKS axle back muffler and nobody had it in-stock since it is discontinued. no bolt on muffler is available for the maxima anymore even Cattman is on back order...

Cattman Performance is the best option.

I don't know who edited the info on the Cattman catback, but the new comments are false IMO. Cattman makes one of the quieter and more refined exhaust systems available out there. I've heard them in person and they are not loud at all. Stillen B-pipe (no resonator) and Stillen muffler = loud.

so the ws2 universal should bolt right up to the bpipe. and no issues with size or fitment? what kind of work is necessary when buying a universal?

I removed it from a car i purchased and it had no fitment issues or leaking gaskets. It's been off the car sitting in my shop for over a year so no sound clips.I can take pics thats not a problem.AS for price i hadn't even thought of it due to having to ship it.

as of right now with my first choice (the ws2) not available. im thinking of now going either greddy sp2 or budget bpipe with a cattman muffler.
which of these two choices would be quieter?

WS2 Universal is NOT a bolt on rear section. It is the muffler only. You will need to take it to a muffler shop to have them weld on hangers and a flange/piping to connect it to the b-pipe.

Greddy exhausts always have a very distinct/unique "Greddy" exhaust note. I suggest you hear one in person before commiting. Personally, I'm not much of a fan for it. The tip design is also fugly imo.

warpspeed has the least popularity, seems like overall ive heard its not as good as the rest. the ypipe is fine but rarely do ppl get catbacks from WS? and whats up with this full exhaust being too long? (http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=381833)

I have an SP2 and had NO fitment issues. Everything bolted right up, no hanging low b-pipes as I heard some complain of. Install it while the car is on a lift so you can do the job right and there will be no problems.. I love the sound.. never have I been harrassed by the PoPo but it does growl when I get on it..

So you can buy it on eBay but the company will not ship b/c they do not have the product? Why would the post an auction if they do not have the itemand they do not even know when it is coming in?

its posted but not as an auction. theres no end time so its just a listed product. i guess they figure an iquiry with their company is better than none at all. everyone i found online that sold the ws2 i gave a call, and NO ONE had it in stock. its the way these gay car part companies work.
