I was just curious to see if anyone on here has raced against eachother in this situation or if anyone knows who would win. A buddy of mine wants to race me and he has a Stock 97 SE 5spd and I have a 97 GXE Auto with Intake and as of today a y-pipe and I also have a Stillen Muffler. Who do you think would win this? Thanks and Take Care

the auto is that slow?

adding a y-pipe is suppose to add 10-20 hp and an intake is suppose to add 3-8... with this the auto will still lose?

whoa........ i need to see this to believe it.

guess i will at maxis!!!

i believe the 5speed will win unless the auto has some major HP mods and the holeshot. my mom's 95SE auto has nothing on my 97gxe 5sp..night and day difference. enticive, where did you buy your pacesetter STS from? how much did it cost?

i got it through www.carparts.com using a 20% discount from www.importhookup.com. It came out to something like $58 shipped. go check it out but be prepared for backorder replies from carparts.com. it is sooo worth it, i think it should be the first mod for the 5spd maxs.
