er, usually doing zorst mods will free up ponies at the high end... I don't think the y or b pipe is any different...

if your car is stock, it would not take the lexus. period. dont argue. if its modded (even just ypipe), it could probably keep up with & possibly beat a stock is300. mod that is300 though and its a different story. mod anything though and its always a different story. and the is300s were not built for luxury. it was supposed to be more of a sporty car than it was luxurious. and stock vs stock the is300 is much better. faster, better handling, and better looking (IMO). and theres not friggin steering torque when you step on it. god i hate that about FWD.

I felt a lot more low/mid with the Y&B versus not having them, but their may well have been gains up higher. I did a lot of city driving, and was rarely high in the RPM range when I had the I30.
