Wheel Locks

What options do I have if I lost the key to the wheel locks?? I'm hoping to find it somewhere soon but I'm not having any luck. I've also heard that if I were to go to a shop to get them out, there's a possibility that they could damage my rims. Any ideas?

This might have been posted before and if so please provide link to it and any information is be appreciated. thanks

you've pretty much got to take it to a shop and have them pound off the locking nut.
You don't have the orginal 'key' code and can order another one?
if the shop is careful, you won't have anything to worry about.

south queens. send me a pic of the lock and I may be able to take it off without damaging the locks. if not then they'll be off but you will need new locks. pm me.

A shop can take care of it, but tell them to be careful otherwise they could damage the rims

the best way if you lose the key is to go buy more lugs, use an impact wrench and a impact socket that you can force over the lugs and will hold tight. beat the socket onto the lug, use the air tool and remove the lug, to get the lug out of the socket, remove the socket from the air tool and use a punch tool or a nice strong screw driver and bash the lug out with a hammer, takes a while if you have all 20 lugs as lock lugs, i only use 4, makes life easier, people wont steal it and if i ever lose the tool i only have to buy 4 new lugs
