ProLong any good?

Wondering if that Prolong brand is any good for that transmission additive that they have. Car has about 110k on original tranny.

How about the oil additive?

Sounds good - I appreciate the response.

How about the oil-additive they make.. Any good? I remember those old late night commercials from years ago where they would supposedly run that dodge viper with no oil in the case.

Socrates,
I would just drain the tranny and refill with Redline ATF. Go to their website and see which weight oil you need, it should cost no more than $8 a bottle. Once you have that in you will definitely notice an improvement in shifts.

Change the vital fluids as required with the real stuff and forget the magic potions.

Again, if the engine is dirty, Auto-rx, if not maybe some Lubecontrol LC20 (google that) but with good oil you'll be fine, no prolong.
