How much can I get for my Max...?

So it looks like I may have to part from the Max as it's not being light on my wallet, and I a poor student. As much as I would not like too... I'd probably have to step down to something a bit more economical.

So I wonder, what can I get for my max?

The goods:
99' GXE with 95K Miles
New clutch, tires, tranny fluid within the last 10K miles.
New plugs, belts, radiator fluid within the past 2K miles
Newish coils from a 96' (65K on the coils).

Tokico Illumina adjustable struts all around
Eibach pro-kit lowering springs (lowered 2 inches)
Enkei RS5 16" alloys with BF Goodrich G-Force Sport rubber
Magnaflow 2.5" catback exhaust
B&M Short Shifter
Unknown brand front strut bar

Electronics:
Viper 350HV alarm with keyless entry.
Kenwood KD-MP4028 MP3 deck
PPI 5440 5 channel amp powering 4 JL VR600-CX speakers
JL e/1200 Sub with a JL 10" W3 sub in a sealed box (though I may take it with me).
CarPC (though most likely I will yank it out).

Interior is pretty clean... also comes with a trailer hitch and a bike rack with all the stuff.

The bads:

Could use new tint, paint is kinda scratched up in certain locations (trunk) and has some chips here and there. Wheels could use refinishing since previous owner was a moron at the parking.

I am probably forgetting something lol but thats the general idea... any suggestions as to the price I should ask IF I keep ALL the electronics? I am located in the California Bay Area...

A lot of those mods won't get you any additional money on the car unless you're selling it to an enthusiast, in which case I'd sell it for about $5000. Otherwise, return it to stock and sell it for about $4500 and part out the goods.

Parting out is out of the questions because I just dont have time to mess with it and have to dig parts to replace the aftermarket (the car came with those).

5K sounds fairly low as thats what 120K+ cars go here in the Bay.

yeah 5000 dollars sounds about right to me. Although having the car up on jack stands and revving the car to redline doesnt help matters much

So is that 5K with all the electronics or w/o it?

I paid 5900 for her in september

edit: the Bay has a bit more premium on the cars...

You're right cars go for more in the Bay... But I'd definitely swap out your audio parts and the magnaflow exhaust for the stock parts, and I'd give thought to taking out the suspension. No one wants to test drive a car with an aftermarket exhaust and stereo system unless it's a teen behind the wheel. You could easily get $5000+ for the car in close to stock form, plus a good amount of extra money from selling those parts. Just my $0.02 after shopping for Maxs in the Bay.

Edit: even if you don't have the stock parts because of the previous owner, it'd be worth it to search for them and get the extra cash if you are a student in need of the money.

Hrm... good point... the exhaust though, that's well - not really worth taking out. There is a slight hole in the muffler can (actually a crack), and it's 8 years old... so bleh I can get like what? 150 for it?

The suspension though.......... yeah. The electronics I'll probably partially take out; keep sub/amp and carputer, leave everything else.

www.kbb.com Ask for $6K. It's worth about $5.5K. And unfortunately for you, after market parts don't add to the retail value of your car.
