Need front suspention advice

My Car is running on tokico illuminas & lowered 2". The pessanger side front sturt is slightly bent. So front suspention need attention. Car has 106 miles. I don't race at all.
Can some one please give me advice on front suspention work?

1) Currently car have tokico blue, Sould I opt for tokico blue or KYB GR2 (or whats longest lasting sturts I can get in similar price range?)

2) Whats else to change along with sturt work, Any sturt mounts need change?

3) Car has 106k Miles, should I change tie rods & Bearings?

4) How long does it take to change sturts?

Many thanks

howd the strut get bent? i used my oem strut mounts for aftermarket struts for a while, then i switched. so i think they would fit but not sure. i changed both front struts in 40 min without a spring compressor. probably take an hour to an hour and a half with compressor.

I have no idea how they bent, probably too much pressure + potholled rods, lowering 2" probably also caused it.

Which one would you prefer KYB or Tokico or anything else?
Will you consider buying on ebay?

Does it take longer with spring compressor?

Tokico Illuminas are pretty much the most highly regarded strut on this forum besides Konis or coilovers.

You should probably get some spring compressors. It's possible you can get away without them, but I wouldn't chance it.

i think its alot faster without a compressor but expect to lose a body part if u dont. i personally like kyb more than tokico.

If you don't want to buy spring compressors, you can always swing by Kragens and see if they have some for rent (free). Make sure you get the "strut" kind and not the "coil" kind...

What springs are these?

Neither the HPs or the GR-2s are designed for a 2" drop. You need to change springs or change struts, but a 2" spring will just kill HPs/GR-2s.

Springs were put by previous owner and are custom made, I have no idea of make. Struts are tokico illuminas. Whole setup is about 3 years old and already struts are started bending alighment issues etc.
I am not sure if its good idea to reduce drop from 2" to 1.5" or 1". and I don't want to spend money to suspention any more. So basically I am looking for setup which could give me 3-4 years of smooth stable ride without eating cash.

tokico illuminas are expensive so i was not considering them

Tein H-tech springs, or maybe Eibach pro-kit. Pair with Tokico HP or KYB GR-2 struts.

There is no way I would want to drive a 4th gen with a full 2" drop.
