I used the weather stripping. It was quick, cheap, easy, and effective until I could figure out a better plan.

Thats an old pic, but best I had at the moment.
Metal work would be much involved, but is possible if you can do it. Anything is really.

I am going to put in HIDs this fall (5000k), I would like to see some pics if you have some of the HIDs installed in them (I am assuming no projectors). Please post some if you could (also say what temp, brand, etc they are if you could).

I am not installing the projectors because I do not have that skill, patience, time, or money to dedicate to it, but am tired of replacing those stupid 'xenons' and even the Silverstars every 5 months.

thanks man. the HID's I have are out of an '04 S4 (D2S). My buddy works in a body shop and the S4 was in there when I was doing my brakes (Front end collision). so i helped myself to the ballasts and what not since they were "junk" anyway. All I needed were some new bulbs. Audi wanted $149 a piece for 4300K. Yeah right. I got 8000K's from HID Planet and they look sweet. I had to cnc an adapter bc the d2s is too small for the 9007 or whatever size the cefiro lights are and do a few other small mods, but theyre in there. How is your grille on there. The cefiros dont come with the holes for the grille support so i just ghetto rigged it for now. any and all info would be awesome. Oh, I will get some pics up prob tommorow cuz i wont be home until then. thanks.

I had to drill (4) 1/8" holes in the middle/top of the grill and used very small, black wire ties to secure it to some existing holes around the latch. You can't see them if you are standing at the front of the car. Its a little wobbly, but you wouldn't notice unless you physically try to move it. Its fine/ straight while driving and sitting so, here too; when I have some time, I will be fixing that in a more proper way as well.
