Im pretty sure you have to remove the center console and access it from the underside...

I recommend these boots from Redline Goods. They sell e-brake boots, shifter boots, and armrest covers. You can customize the type of leather along with the colors.

And here are installation instructions for the e-brake boot.

I think he was talking about the e-brake boot.

I hope you were talking about the e-brake, seeing as it was his thread title. It's not hard, unbutton it, then pull the e-brake up and wiggle the front part free. Then pull the e-brake down and wiggle the rear part free.

Obviously, I have bought both from them before. A shifter boot is completely irrelevant in this thread, he has an auto. And no, a 5 year old can successfully uninstall an e-brake boot.

Oh so where is the part about cutting out the piece of wire inside the boot and reinserting it into the new one because I doubt a 5 year old would figure that part out don't yoi? That is fine about the shifter boot but I put up a link to ALL of the products that they make for a Maxima. If you look it says "Shift boots and MORE" meaning there is more if you bother to scroll down.

I never said anything about reinstalling the new boot, I was answering his question regarding the removal of the stock e-brake boot.
