I was thinking I could go to an apholstry shop, and find material that matches for the carpet and roof liner, and make them myself, or atleast glue to the old one... If It does not work, I can always buy one...

was wondering if anyone did this, and if so what issues came up?

It's $115 at that stock interiors site. Plus 60 is you want the high quality rubber backing. I think thats a great price.

I have the black carpet from stock interiors, without the backing. The quality is good, and the shipping is quick. It does require a lot of cutting though. You have to cut it to fit over the ****er, ebrake, center console section- and also around the back seats and panels. It is pretty simple to do, just take your time

ACEEMaxima is selling his custom molded carpet... if you don't buy from him I'm sure he can answer your question. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=521551

For the price stock interiors is selling their full carpets for I think it would be dumb to attempt anything else. Unless your time is worth nothing... go for the pre-molded one, it will look much nicer. Plus.... theres no limit to what colors you can get. You might be able to make it look pretty sick.

I replaced my carpet with one from Stock interiors. Its premolded and was still a bit tricky to get it to fit real snug. Thats going to be your best bet, if you try and do your own carpet molding from just flat carpet then good luck with that. I dont see how you would be able to get it to fit snuggly.
