Yes if they are from any 95-99 Maxima/I30 they will work. Anything 2000+ will not so do not bother. It is easy to program and is located in the stickies if you need it.

I just bought a used 95-99 keyless remote off ebay for 25 + shipping. As far as I could tell from the auction , it looks like a regular used remote. It is supposed to get here next week, so I'll let everyone know how it goes.

I have purchased plenty remotes from Ebay and they work great. I would buy from a seller that has a high rating. I aslo got remotes for my mother in law's Rav4 and didn't have any problems either.

Wrong.

Remotes are fine off ebay. As stated, make sure they have a legit rating and read the page. Make sure you're buying what you're paying for. Havn;t had a single problem with my FOB yet. Buying another one soon I think.

I've bought 2 used oem so far from ebay. Only concern would be to check the condition of the part that connects to a key ring. Had to rig one but functionality was fine.

I'm not sure if I'm just misunderstanding the first post, but buying a remote will not give you keyless entry capabilities on a Maxima that didn't come with that feature in the first place.

If your car has the Keyless module and just didn't come with a remote, then yeah an eBay one will work fine.
