soo uhh...where can i get a cheap front bumper?
some old lady 2 cars infront of me just stopped short in the rain, car infront of me barely was able to stop. i unfortionatly couldnt stop in time and now have a nice square trailer hitch mark indented about 1/4 inch into my bumper. luckily no damage to the other car though. so long story short, i need a bumper. wheres a good/cheap place to get one for a 99? i can do the painting myself so it doesnt matter if it comes primed or painted.

theres a place in houston called autofit.bz, they have this hug a$$ warehouse full of replacement parts and they have them for 50 bucks..... you can check their website and see if they have a warehouse closer to you and you can call them up and ask them how much would it be to ship it to you....

I woulkd seriously suggest going OEM. in other words look to the dealership to get a replacement. It may be alil more pricey, but the fitment will be better than ebay replicas. I have seen a couple of OEM replicas and the gap between the turn signals is very noticeacble.

honestly, it doesnt matter much to me. ide rather spend less and have a little bit bigger of a gap. i checked the autofit.bz site and couldnt seem to find any bumpers. i found some other site that has them for $100 shipped. might go that route. might just leave it for now until i get some more free money. havnt decided what route im going to take yet.

Damn old ladies....same thing happened to me and I've been living with the screwed up front bumper for awhile now. Well, the good part was the old lady that caused my accident got her passenger door pwned by my bumper. I'm a little hesitant to buy an OEM replacement on ebay due to poor quality... I feel for ya man.

if you're gonna buy it for a $100, you might as well go with the ebay ones... they are like $10-$25 less, depending on what vendor you get it from....
you can PM ethnic6 to find out about it, i think he got one from ebay.....

I just bought a new one from Keystone, an aftermarket parts supplier. They had a store 20 miles from me and had it in stock. Fit perfectly and cost me $118 with tax. My insurance person told me about them.

Listen if you are near Boston go to Certifit Auto Parts (certifit.com) a bumper for 97-99 maxima is ridiculously cheap - $28.75 to be exact. They aren't the best fitting but hey for that kind of price you can't ask too much of them. They also ship if you don't have one near by.
