read if your on progress / gr-2

i think my agx's are pretty blown now after 55-60k. im done modding this car, id like to keep it lowered but the ride is killing me. anyone with this combo care to share their experience.? i know illumina or konis are the way to go for smootheness..but i dont wanna spend that much money. is this setup horrible on a sensitive back? i plan on getting new strut mounts. thanks ahead for the info.

gr2's

the set up i have is the GR2's with maxspeed springs. i love this set up. up in the mountains i have no problems and yes i have a bad back! Not sure what the drop is on the progress but I think its 2 inch. the maxspeed is only 1.7 so you have alittle more travel. And last make sure you change your mounts - i didnt and had to 3 months latter.

good luck

GR2's are somewhat stiff. You will like blue/illuminas better.

The "newer" blues can handle a drop pretty well, if tokico can pair them with springs that lower the car almost 2inches, you will be fine with Progress.

agx have a lifetime warrenty, if you can deal with the downtime, get them replaced.

ive got a addco sway bar.

how do i tell the difference between and old and new type tokico blue??or do they only sell the new ones nowadays??

thanks alot kevlo. you rock man.

*lifetime warranty is void if you use springs that are more than 1.5 drop. plus i dont have any reciepts or anything. doubt they will honor it.
