Question about codes 0309 and 0705
Hey guys,
My check engine light just came on and pulled 0309 and 0705. Also I know the code deals with the EVAP. But is this an issue where i need to immediately fix it? Or is it alright to let it hang around for a while. I ask this because I'm going to be commuting on average 150 miles a day for the summer and do not want any issues. You think its alright to just keep resetting the ECU and just forget about it for a while.

well, to begin...i *think* that you got the code numbers backwards...maybe you meant 0903 and not 0309. I dont think the code affects driveability. Change out the canister under your left rear tire...or clean the valve and that should fix it. I couldnt get the valve off cuz the bolts just spin so i had to buy another canister....i got it from a junkyard, took a chance on it working and thankfully it did for $10-15 iirc. no codes
