rear wheel bearings

rear wheel bearings
So my passenger side rear wheel bearing is going bad and making some noise... I am going to replace it. When I have asked around, everyone has told me that you cannot buy the bearing itself but you have to buy the entire hub assembly.
I am wondering if you are able to buy the bearing separately and press it in (first pressing out the bad bearing).
If so, where would I be able to purchase just the bearing? Everywhere I look, you have to buy the entire hub assembly.
Thanks!

i have the same problem, both of my rear bearings r shot. i couldnt get the bearing i had to buy the whole hub assembly. i just installed one in, i have to put the other one in. if you wanted any help which i doubt you would just ask. but just becareful with your ABS sensor if you have ABS cause i F***ed mine up. both of my hubs cost me 295.00$ which i bought from stealership cause noone else carried it.

I bought mine from Advance Auto parts for around $90/each. They've worked great for 50K miles. Also, it's a lot easier to just swap out the hubs and the abs sensors (if equipped).
Hope this helps.
