The "boost Sensor"

i hate this thing.. it doesn't fit anywhere after i installed my aftermarket intake.. and i think its throwing the cel code 1302 and need to replace it.. anyone know where you can purchase another one of these?? i've looked seemingly everywhere.. i hate dealing with dealers.. any other option?

Did you disconnect the hoses from it at any point? Make sure they aren't switched around.

Guess that eliminates that option. Must be thinking of the map/baro switch or something, I'm not quite sure. Being a '95, I don't have either...

does anyone have a picture of their boost sensor set up?? if you have an aftermarket intake i'd like to see where you put the boost sensor.. and which hose you have connecting to it.. help please

also if anyone wants to take a picture or tell me where the egr valve is.. i may need to clean it

I just put mine by the radiator hose, tried to keep it in a similar position it was with the stock intake. No problems with this setup.

thanks ltu for that pic! can you show me which tube you have leaving the boost sensor?? i have this random tube that isn't going to anything and would like to know if it needs to plug into the nozzle located at the bottom of the boost sensor.. see pics..

I didn't know the boost sensor hooked into anything. I never saw any hose on mine, just the electrical harness. I have mine dangling down the driver side of the engine. It's been like that for two years with no problems.

I just zip tied mine to the nearest wiring harness. You can go to autozone and have them read the code for free to see if that is actually th problem.

Yup, that hose is probably the one that is supposed to be going to the boost sensor. I zip tied mine in a similiar location as the above pics.

Yeah i been doing mine the same way as well.. just in there dangling around, but i actually may try the zip tie idea to keep it still..

how interesting

i looked for one just about everywhere except the dealer because i dont have money for that, and so far the best place to find one is a junk yard.
