Well, the other day when I was installing my brakes I had all 4 wheels off and the car on stands. I took this oppertunity to inspect my exhaust.

Now, if you recall I knew that I had a leak in the flex section of my y-pipe. Well, upon further inspection I found that I also had a leak between the RT Cat (gotta love those flanges) and the B-pipe! This leak seemed more severe than the y-pipe one.

So, tonight I took the joint apart, cleaned both flanges, cleaned the gasket, and re-connected them with new hardware.

First of all the car is so much quieter than it was before. Night and Day.

I took the car out and it feels like I totally different car. I can spin the wheels so much easier, and it doesn't feel labored when I try to get the car moving.

With the leak acceleration felt uneven and bumpy. That feeling it totally gone now that the leak is fixed.

A few weeks ago at the track (with this leak) I was .3-.4 off what I felt I should be getting. I have a good feeling that .2-.3 of this was because of this leak. I am going to the track Wednesday, so we'll see if it helps, but the car does feel a lot better!
