Warpspeed Complete 2-1/2" system?? Q' muffler??
after much searching of the org, and after further review, i have concluded that i'm going to replace my complete exhaust system. i may be able to keep the stock cat, but it may be easier to replace.
anyway, has anyone purchased the Warpspeed Complete 2-1/2" system for $590??
http://www.warpspeedperformance.com/nissan.htm
this seems like the best/easiest deal i can find.
how quiet is the clone Q' muffler and does anyone know if it is available on this system? is anyone familiar with the fitment of this system as a whole? also, just to clarify, how long will the 'aluminized steel' last?

I have bought it. Expect delivery to take at least 1 month. Fitment was perfectly fine. I have the Loud muffler and its really freakin loud. I will be replacing with a G35 muffler in here in a bit. I've had mine for a bout a year and absolutley no rust.

Warpspeed actually stopped making that for our cars.
I know because I initially wanted to buy the clone "q" from them because I wanted more hp but definitely no 4" tip. I called them about 2 weeks ago regarding this and they said they stopped making it for the maxima and were probably never going to start production again.
I would go with the Cattman catback for 630 shipped or the whole system (y-pipe down to muffler tip) for 1215 shipped depending on your location.

I say try to find a use stainless steel y pipe and get the cattman catback. It will probably run you around 700. Then all that is left is installation.
BTW, warpspeed blows from what I read about their exhaust systems and especially their y pipes.
Cattman ftmfw!!!!!!

I purchased a full exhaust from Warpspeed with the Q-muffler about 2.5 years ago. It was a nightmare.
--- Y-pipe was just fine. Looks good, flows well, fit nicely.
--- Hi-flow Cat was fine.
--- B-pipe was a mess. Didn't fit the car AT ALL. All of the angles were wrong and the flange was welded at a bad angle. I had to get a muffler shop to turn the flange several degrees to even come close to making it fit. Even then the B-pipe was several inches too long and caused the muffler to stick out beyond the length of the car. It banged around like crazy due to the poorly matched bends. A nightmare.
--- Q-muffler SUCKS. It's about 2 times louder than stock and the sound is wheezy and awful. It's huge and fat and looks like crap on the car. The extra 1/4 horsepower isn't worth it. Stay stock and get a nice tip.
After all of my nightmare problems Dallas finally made me a mandrel bent 2" b-pipe and sent me a stock-replacement-type muffler. So, the b-pipe isn't 2.5", but it is still smooth flowing and lacks that crazy air-stopping kink that the stock b-pipe has. I'm probably getting 90% of the benefit. The muffler is similar to stock, not quite as quiet, but reasonably close. Much better than the Q-muffler.
Bottom Line: Dallas and Warpspeed are nice folks, but lots of things can go wrong when people are making exhaust pieces (by hand) for cars that aroud 1500 miles away...
Y-pipe is fine to order (though there's no guarantee). Have the catback made locally. It will save you loads of trouble and will be properly fitted. I'd have paid MUCH more money to have avoided the 4 months of aggravation that my Warpspeed b-pipe and muffler caused me.
