Probelm:Popping sound/HP loss

So I was driving my car today and went to pass someone, put the pedal to the floor and the next thing I know I heard this strange popping noise and it felt like I lost about half of the power. I let off the gas and everything was fine. I floored it again and it it did the same thing once it hit about 3.5 rpm's.
I let off and floored it again and it did it again but not as bad. My car felt as if it wanted to go but it popped then slowed a little bit then took off for like a .5 second and then slowed again then took off then slowed. I cruised for a min then floored it again and it took off as if nothing ever happened. I have no Idea... It did this once before (about a month ago) when I was getting on it real hard on a windy road.

I pulled some codes from the ECU and got a 0409 and a 0413. They both refer to the o2 sensor. I can't imagine that the o2 sensor would cause this problem but hey I've been wrong before.

Any help or previous experiences would be great.

I currently get something like this, mine backfires through the intake and misses like crazy under heavy load (WOT) most of the time. I've been too lazy to test out a new MAF to see if that fixes the issue.

Yes, a faulty o2 sensor may show those symptoms. Try to check the voltage levels to see that the o2 sensors are working correctly. If they are the culprit simply replace them.

And when you experience something wrong I would not continue flooring the car.

My Accord did that before the O2 sensor went... I'd change it.
