Looks like you either ran underneath a semi or something drove up on you. What happened?

 

going back to my apartment after working on my car at my parents. coming around a corner, guy coming the other way over the center line. had to jerk it right to miss the on coming car. got in the gravel on the side, started losing control, turned left to get back on road, caught grip and flew in to the left side ditch. slid sideways in the ditch, passenger side frontend hit where the ditch turns into a driveway and flipped the car twice.

 

That is a horrible feeling when you hear that first crunch, and know it's only going to get worse. Sorry it happened right after you were working on it, usually those are the best drives. The main thing is your ok, looks like it was quite a ride.

Any chance the JACKA55 that was in your lane stuck around?

ya i am fine and so was my friend with me. no the ******* never stopped. one good thing was i was gonna put my suspension on today too but ran out of time. that would have been 700 blown but good thing i never got it on.

so yeah...im gonna be parting this car out soon. suprisingly pretty much only the exterior and suspension got messed up so i can still sell whats under the hood and the interior. really the only under the hood damage is the battery is blown to pieces and the intake is smashed. no fluids leaking. i did hose it down tho to get rid of the battery acid. im going on vacation tomorrow (good timing eh?) so next week ill start a thread in the classifieds section.

For a car that flipped twice, the top is untouched! Must have gotten some good air on that one. Sorry about the loss. It's sad that no matter how good you drive there's always people out there that are too stupid to be breathing and we often have to pay for it. You got lucky.

Thats one good thing Ive seen with maximas. There have been others that have flipped there maximas that were on the org and the cabin always seems to be untouched. Its the back and front that get the damage. All that I have read and seen have walked away ok.

As long as u r ok and ur passenger was ok and u were buckled up then thats all that matters, u can always get another car (or max????)

actually i wasnt buckled up. passenger was tho. she only hit her head on the side of the door and got a bruise there, i came out of with just some small random bruises.

im not gonna be buying another car probly til next summer now that schools gonna be here. im lucky that i can walk to school and my job. when i do buy another car tho, im thinking ill maybe try to find a max off of the classifieds here, another 4th gen. i seriously loved my car alot. i was planning on dropping it, getting some nice rims, and putting on an 00VI within the year.

another thing that sucks is i still have an ur udp coming in the mail this week.
