Strut Replacement

Anyone recommend OEM strut replacement for front and back? Don't want any performance upgrade just looking to get the same feel.

I found this thread for recommended hardware:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=106476
but can't seems to find a solid recommendation on OEM strut shock and spring replacement.

TIA!

I went with the KYB GR-2 and they tighten up the car quite a bit. Since my car is 9 years old, it is very hard to remember what it was like back then.

Nissan doesn't make shocks, so OEM would have come from Tokico (Hitachi company) or KYB (TRW company).

if you like your stock springs, keep them. They don't go bad (spring rate doesn't change), and any aftermarket spring will deteriorate your ride quality, since they all have higher rates. unless you have SE model, and want just a bit sportier ride, you can install those. get them used here for no more than $50.

Ok thanks! I should have mentioned it is a SE. But, just looking to get as close to original as possible.

Any recommended place to buy the blues? I found a number of places online but they only have the left front and no rears.

Yes, the springs do not go bad.

*they may in situations which our cars will never be subjected to, and only after a very long time (metal fatigue comes to mind)
