I went to pepboys and advance autoparts and bought all the bulbs that are SUPPOSED to be real bright for the map and dome lights.. but they are all garbage .. anyone know where the real deal bulbs are or where to buy them online? ... ebay has a ton but im not sure which ones are good and which ones arent..... a while back I had a pretty bright domelight bulb but lost it and cant remember what kind of bulb it was, but it was pretty darn bright for a pop in bulb..

I bought one of those cheapo "Xtreme" lighting or something along them lines to replace the dome light and its bright as hell. When I hit my remote on the alarm it lights the entire cabin up very nice...kinda has a "white" color to it,not that dull yellow like the OEM bulb did. I havent tried them in the map lights yet but I would expect the same results. I think the bulb was like 4 bucks. I could take a pic if you want when it gets dark out later on.

You know it's a 3.5 man. I would never get a 4 banger.

The polargs are the way to go. I had them all over my max, including the dome light. I even had them for my rear turn signals and they were bright as hell

great success.... got the m16 and the m17 Polargs for the map and dome .. from what I read online they are supposed to be pretty darn bright

 

it seems like ebay doesn't list any more polargs for the map and dome lights anymore just the 194's and headlights.

 

Yea the polarg's are what I wanted in the first place but i couldnt find them in-store anywhere and didnt want to wait for delivery as mine was blown. So I went to autozone and bought these cheapos with the intention of ordering the polarg's and using these in the meantime...well when i seen how they lit the car up I decided I was good. I only could find the ones for the dome,they didnt have any for the map lights in stock and i never checked back but I do have the the other bulb that came in the pack so I can give you the name of them and in an hour or two when the sun goes down i can take a pic for ya if you still want to see them.

 

you can get those.. Or this kit superbrightleds.com all the way down on the page my boy has it ill ask him for some piucs....... I have a 9 led festoon bulb from superbrightleds lights up nicely and accents my door lesd and keyring

 

I filled my dome full of white led's and its really bright. But if you dont want to go through with all that then I'd go with the polarg hyperwhites

 

How are Polargs for 194 corners? I don't want mine to be super super bright on my bumpers because I don't want it to flood out my HIDs or cause cops attention too much. Do u have pics of the 194s on the bumper lens?

 

the only way to get super bright dome lights is to retrofit HIDs into them. honestly, why do you need a more bright than average dome light? i didnt even think people used those.
