An old trick

I was replacing my knock sensor the today, and did a little research on how people have done it. Reading some of the posts and the frustrations people had reminded me of an old trick I learned from my Grandpa. When you can't position a bolt by hand, use a piece of shoptowel or newspaper to cover the bolt head, then place a socket or boxend ratcheting wrench on it, and it won't fall out. This can be a real headache and sliced hand releiver...

i could fit my hand under the intake manifold but when i was going to put the new ks in with the bolt in it, i couldn't hold the bolt in the sensor and squish my hand into the right position without risking dropping the bolt. So, i took a piece of masking tape and taped the top of the bolt to the sides of the ks and once i got it placed on the block, pulled the tape off.
