Charging Problem...again

I done f***ed up somwhere....

Ok, i'm pretty sure my alt has no problems, is like 2 months old from Iraggi. Anyway, im sure i have some kind of bad connection somewhere. I bought a yellow top two weeks ago. the other day i put the + 0 gauge alternator wire to the extra positive post on the battery and added a 0 gauge negative to the other extra side post of the battery.....the negative from the batter runs to the bold that holds the enginie to the alt....(ugh, i didnt do it, i thought it was kind of long ).

But i just noticed today that there is definently a problem becasue when the cars on the voltage is 12.0 down to 11.6, and when the car is off it read 12.4v.

Before doing this wiring thing, the alternator + was connected to the top post of the bat with all the other positive wires, but i never added an extra ground to it. It wasn't having any issues. It readed 12.4 and higher. Anyone think they cangive me some insight on this? I'll post pics tomarrow if that would help...I need power

damn, well no ones ran into this before?

Anyway, i just put the cable back on the top post and disconnected the extra ground. I also made the power cable shorter to the alternator. WHen i reved it up it went to 13.7v at like 3000 or before that. at idle, it changes, for the most it reads 11.9-12.1. I messed with the cable by wigleing it, and then it read 12.5.-12.9.

Then i drove it around the block and it stayed at 12.4 - 12.6. I'm pretty sure nothing is wrong with my alt. Now i'm just looking into some kind of connection probem...if anyone car give insight, it would be greatly appreciated

Ok. Back to this thread..lol Anyway, due to research and more observations from my car, i'm starting to beleive there is a idle problem because my rpm needles seems to change with the voltage drops....but this only occurs when i'm in park or at a red light....and i get lots of power while driving. I change the idle to 1000rmp. It did fine. I then reved the engine up to about 2000 i guess and let it go. The idle went down about only 500, not back to 1000 and stayed there for a while!

P.S. I had 2 P14445 codes and now the light is gone. I didn't do a thing, just doesn't show up anymore. Before that, there was an 02 Sensor code, and now thats gone....

Any of those sensors cause problems like this???
