SHIFTER LIGHT REPLACEMENT......
To do the light down by the shifter was even easier:
1)Pop off the trim around the shifter
2)take that out and then remove the ash tray - its one screw to the left and 2 clips to the right of it
3)then unscrew 2 black screws where the 2 pieces of the center console meet (right on top)
4)then look inside, down where the shift mechanism is
you will see 4 silver screws attahed to the frame of the shift module(on the 4 Corners around shifter)
5)take these out, then slide forward and pull up to gain acces to the bottom of the panel(it will be tight in there)
6)there will be a blue wire going to the bottom of the panel where the "P,R,N,D,2,1" is, reach in and twist and pull out the bulb fixture, its the same bulb from the gauge cluster size 194 (if you bought 3 pairs of bulbs you will have an extra to do this)
7)switch out the bulbs and your done!
8)now work in reverse order to put it back together
I will post how to do the climate control lights once i finish

APC bulbs.........
i used the blue APC 194 bulbs sold in pairs, i love them. nice deep blue color at night..... even down by the shifter too. The stock bulbe are white and use that condom for a reason that i dont know, hehe!! Soon to come is the Climate control moduale bulbs and ignition key ring. Try the APC bulbs you wont be dissapointed. trust me you will like them!! $5 a pair....... ATV
