How much do you think my car is worth?
i kid you not. intake exhuast and a jim wolf tech ecu. got me 12.9 at 117 at a nopi show at atco i have my time slip posted on maxima.org if you wanna see it. my sn is 95maxxedout. i had slicks on it and still spune. i dont think it would run that right now but it did at that car show. everyone was pulling some crazy times thought so it just want me...i hear what your saying though alot of people have said that but i hope to hear from you on friday maybe i can find the time slip to show you
I sent him this :
"While being light and compact is always good in an engine, what was most enchanting about this one was the power it produced. The 190-hp rating wasn't any more than the previous year, but the thick 205 pound-feet of peak torque at a reasonable 4,000 rpm gave the engine a much friendlier power band. And when that torque was channeled through the SE's five-speed manual transmission, the result was a scintillating performance — zero to 60 in just 7.4 seconds and the quarter-mile flying by in 15.7 seconds at 90.0 mph, according to Road & Track. It was intoxicating power."
stock with a 5 speed it ran a 15.7 new and wear free
your saying almost 3 seconds faster than that, thats why im all wondering about the 12.9
you would need massive weight reduction as well as a heavaly built motor or power adders.
well you've kept your car in mint conditon so it's all worth it. congrats on your sale. 5200 is a good price. you don't wanna know how much i sold my 97 max for.
The fact that you had that car for 11 years and kept in that condition. I bown down to you sir.

Thanks Hiren.... yeah, I'm a complete car nut.... I "talk" to my cars whenever I wash one of them every weekend. I cried when my 540 was totaled... I got some bruises from air bag, but I cried b/c of my car. How crazy is that?Anyway.... I certainly hope the new owner would take care of her quite well also... can't imagine how I'd feel when I come across her and see her all banged up.... LOL.

Based on my experience, there is no way those 3 would result in 12.9. Stripping the car to the death would only save at most 500lbs.... still not enough to shave 3 seconds (stripping it would at most shave 0.5 sec). Any chances he used some juice?
EDIT:
BTW, showing time slip would not mean anything.... don't mean to be prejudice... but if we doubt about him telling the truth on his mods, how would a piece of paper mean? If he's local to you, go to the strip and witness it yourself.... you could also check out his mods w/ your own eyes.
