BlueBatMobile 97-99 Yellow Fogs
Hey batmobile... I asked this question in an eariler post, but you didn't respond..
What is the likely hood of the "material" you use on the foglights developing a burn spot? Some times you see them as a black circle in the middle of a lense?
thanks for getting back to me.

You can still get yellow capsules for fog lights. And during the day the fogs dont look yellow and have a nice yellow color to it. But i didnt get them from hidtech because they didnt respond so i went to ebay.
hah.
[EDIT] These are not from bat mobile but they are 3M laminate from some group deal awhile back... I also have 2004 maxima halogen H3 fog projectors retro'd in the stock housings...They look "lexus yellow" wheter day or night.
[EDIT, EDIT] oh yeah, bat mobile you can still use the pics of my terrible-looking car. hah.

I would say it depends on what quality of film he uses....The 3m material ones that I got from some group deal awhile back is really high quality, nice thickness and dark tone to it. I think on the outside of the stock housing theres no way the 3m film would ever melt or burn.
Blue batmobile...what brand of film are these made from?
yeah.. i'm not sure of the brand or quality. i got it from Lamin-X. heard about it from my buddy with a wrx. i couldn't believe it either when i first saw it. ill get pics for you when i can.
for anyone reading the please don't be discouraged to buy the overlays from Bat, mine were from a different brand and from what i hear, Bat's overlays are of better quality. i might actually buy a set from him myself.

From Bluebatmobile:
"Please note that I only use 7 year Premium high performance Vinyl for all my kits, so you can expect a long life from your Overlay!"
That was on the sheet that came with the overlays that I ordered. I haven't had the chance to install them yet as it's been way too cold up here.
hope that helps.
