I just love gadgets.

i think this is what you are looking for
http://www.mitocorp.com/nvsmirro.htm
it does temp compass and auto dims when a certain amount of light is measured
i got one sitting on my floor right now, i really need to install it ... i think its straightforward tap into a few lines, run a temp sensor thru the firewall and run the lines up to the headliner to the mirror thats it (instructions are on the site i think)
there is also another manufacturer out there, and i think its donelley and comes on vettes

ur kidding about that price from jc whitney right?
i got mine a few months ago and it was at 250 but i had a 20% off coupon to go with it ... come to think of it, i saw a jc whitney catalouge where they were clearancing them out for like 200
oh well i guess they raised their prices
abnorm: did u read the instructions on the site?
it looks confusing, but once you get an idea it really isnt that hard, as long as you can tap into some wires you should be okay
