G-Stop Brakeline Fitment Issues

did anyone ever buy a set of G-Stop Braklines? i bought mines from nopionline.com and i was told by my mechanic that the lines were too big... and the hard piece that gets screwed in was problem... the hose would have been an easier issue to cut...

but he said the hard screw in part is basically in the way of the axles. the part said it fits 4th gens, and now this. i cant return the part because it is way past return date

has anyone run into this problem b4? if not, i guess i will have to do my own trial and error and goto multiple mechanics, which isnt easy, because they dont know whats back there until they take off everrrything

A simple search would have answered your question. Same exact discussion from two months ago: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=531309

Bump for my awesome pics in the above linked thread. LOL.

No seriously, your mechanic couldn't figure it out? Double check the install, and if .org is correct, I'd fire your mechanic for lack of brains. Ok, that was harsh, but c'mon, there's a limited # of correct ways the lines can go in, and nearly any other method will cause problems.
