Yes you can and here's how for 2Ks...>
If you would read "The MegaMax" site like your suppost to every so often you would see how to do this. These were posted my a member a year ago so I can't answer any questions.

****For all the 2000-2001 owners here is a little trick on how to keep power to your windows without the key in the ignition.****
*Remove the panel directly under the steering wheel by removing the 2 screws at the bottom left and right sides of the panel and then pulling the top of the panel out. The top is held in by 3 clips.
*Directly to the right of the fuse box you will see an elongated blue relay. This relay supplies power to the windows and the sunroof. Remove this relay.
*Look at the female connection to this relay. There are 4 terminals. The top 2 terminals connect to the relay coil, and the bottom 2 terminals connect the end terminals of the relay switch. The diagram on the case of the relay will show this.
*Install a jumper wire connecting the 2 bottom female terminals (use 16 guage wire). This will bypass the switch so that the windows will always have power.
*Install the relay back into its original position.
Voila! Your windows can now be operated without the key. This whole operation should take less than 30 minutes. I have done this modification on at least 25 cars of various makes and models - some of them being very challenging. If you run into trouble, e-mail me at: Rnatale@tampabay.rr.com. Let me know how you make out.

Should be the same..>
I installed my shift light and other than the connection to the ECU all the wiring is the same. Seems 80% of the car is the same so I can't see why this would be any different. I do see your point but if it had been done, I really think it would be quite popular with 4 gens.
Be the first fourth generation to do this...try it and let us know.

I tried doing this yesterday to my 95 GXE. But instead of having one long blue relay to the right of the fuse box, I had three small blue relays to the left of the fuse box.
I couldn't make heads or tails of it of I just decided not to do it.
So I guess I'll wait along with everyone else until someone figures out a way to do this on the 4th gen.

I know it won't work on a 95 at least. Cause I looked at my fust box and it doesn't look anything like what is described above.

I haven't had a chance to fool with this anymore but - I was looking at the schematics of my car, and I think that if I put constant power to my window modules my factory alarm will never go into "sleep mode" (armed). So what I was thinking about doing was either adding a timer module of some sort, or a push button. In either case it would only provide 12 volts to the window modules as long as the button was held, or whatever time was set up on the timer module. Sorry, I haven't done either, but this is my thinking. Do a search, I don't remember the thread but someone else was talking about using a window rollup/rolldown module. That sounds like a good choice. Please post any success. Thanks.
