NOS Kit Installation Questions
I just bought a used kit from a very cool guy on here. It should be coming in soon. It contains a 75 shot setup, dry kit.
Question is, where should the spray nozzle be setup, and installed. I have a stock air intake, with the exception of a K&N. I have no Cold Air kit to thread it into, so that leaves it out of the question.
What other alternatives are there to spray the N2o, while keeping a good distance from the throttle body. I am no "complete" stranger to NOS. I have had it before on some Stangs I have owned, but they were Wet kits.
Should the Dry kit be ok? 75 shot be ok?
What should I look out for, and be warned about?

I have mine in the throttle body....about an inch before the actual throttle. I just drilled a hole...and it mounts VERY nicely there...looks very professional too. The advantage is that it hits HARD the closer it is the the throttle body. NOS will tell you to keep it more than 6 inches away....but I think that's horse crap.
Not crap
I bet if you put a fresh set of plugs in and make a nitrous run then check the plugs you will find that the rear drivers side cylinder is much leaner. I have my nozzle further mounted on the CAI upper pipe and I see this. So I'm sure that its exagerated the closer the nozzle is to the intake plenum. For a small shot its no biggie, but for a 75+ you want it further back. IMHO, its not a blow your motor kinda thing, your car will start to run like crap as the miles roll up because that cylinder will wear much more than the others.

Personally,
I would rather not drill into the throttle body. I wish they make throttle body plates. The intake runners on the Maxima's aren't that long are they?
I don't have a CAI, so I am looking for ways to set it up without having to buy a CAI.
