im getting a new tranny put in my max cuz the other one that I changed about a month a go is jsut died ( rebuilt)...so I was wondering if it's possible to put a "performance" tranny that can hold up to more power ?? so that it would last longer and hold up to mods ....

check out level 10's website... they sell some good perf. trannies. http://www.level10.com

also u might want to talk to don in texas. post a question for him and i'm sure u'll get a response.

These are good suggestions for an automatic transmission owner. However, Tri-lite has a '96 Maxima 5-speed.
