e brake light ?
Does our cars (4gen) have e-brake lights ? I dont see any on mine when the e brake is applied .When the key is half on & the lights on the dash go on i see one for brake but it does not light up for the e brake.
Why i need this you ask ,well i was driving with my e brake on wondering y the car is so slow(my wife pulled it up when we stopped ).After a few blocks the porterfeilds stunk up the place
So i really dont want this to happen again ,i could have warped my rotors .
So what the word.

first lets not call it an E-brake ok. Think about what your saying. in an emergeny situation its not gonna stop you. I can repeat my "E-brake" sueing the manufacter story again if you like. and yea, there is a brake warning light on the dash that should light up. Could be an electrical problem, bulb burnt out, maybe stuck switch or something else. good luck
Actually, EricGP's brakes went out one night when his GF was driving, and she used the e-brake plus downshifting to get the car to stop before she plowed into the next car at an intersection. So, the E-brake does help in some emergency situations.
