If you have installed it properly then you should have noticed a difference... check the install and then go somewhere safe and take some tight turns...

FSTB

you will only feel the difference under intense cornering. the car will feel a bit more rigid, but it won't be that much of a difference. you need all three aftermarket bars and lowering springs and shocks to get the ultimate handling performance. with just springs, shocks, z rated tires and the fstb, your car will feel like a totally different demon compared to the tame little kitty that it used to be =)

Well, originally FSTB was designed for cars participating in off-road racing, so when the car jumps the front suspension will not go out of the alignment. It's not going to eliminate your body roll and help you corner better, that what RSB is for.
If I knew that at least half a year ago, I wouldn't consider buying it because I didn't feel any difference at all. On the other hand, Rear Sway Bar made a significant difference.

it does make a little differnce but you really have to get a tight tight fit on it. it does take out some of the slop on your steering wheel, and for 40 bucks i paid it's worth it. the RSB is awesome though, only Stillen part i will buy.

This Weekend

This is going to be my project this weekend also. Do you need a torque wrench to get the job done or can you just tighten them? How did most of you do it? I kinda just dont want to buy a torque wrrench just for this.

You better get a torque wrench for this job, you might also need it later for other projects.

The handling 'gains' that everyone seems to be talking about aren't across the board, but one fstb is guaranteed to do the same job as any other. Is everyone sure it isn't all in your minds that the car handles differently? I don't have one, BTW, and don't plan on getting one ANY time soon.

What does one run for anyhow? Does the Rear sway bar add much weight to the car? Also how difficult is that to install?

Are you asking how much is the wrench or RSB?. It not hard to install you just need jack stands. RSB is pretty heavy, especially the one from Stillen but it's worth it, trust me.

you're not going to notice a big gain when changing lanes on the highway... but when you're making a right turn on a city block, 90 angle, you'll be able to do it much faster.... that's my observation... oh yeah... get the RSB...

Sorry I meant the wrench. I figure it is something I can just pick up at Honme depot or whatever. Just curious before I go though.

Yeah Home Depot or any hardware store. It shouldn't be very expensive. I also heard there're some places where you can rent tools. That would be a good idea if you don't wanna buy it.

lol....i know im an idiot and all but all the fstb did for me was tighten up my steering wheel (which i didnt like too much anyway). however, i dont drive like many guys on here so i figure thats why i didnt notice the diff. depends how you drive i guess? like dmb said, its ok for 40 bucks. if i wana go back to my loose steering wheel though i will prob take it out. later.

Personally i think the Stillen FSTB is a waste of money, a 40 dollar one from procarparts.com does the same thing. but their RSB is worth it, i have it and it's the only stillen thing i would ever buy. you'll be even more surprised by the improvement with this.

Come on now torgue wrench for the fsb. Geez it's just a couple bolts and your done. Now for the rear just go ahead and locktight it in.. HAHA

Both are great I think and your not out a bunch of money and the integras are jealous over the handling..
