Lowering the seat more.
well
apart from taking the seat out and cutting the brackets that hold it to the floor, you could try:
1. reclining the seat back a little more so your head isn't so high (you may want to move the seat forward too)
2. put yer *** farther forward in the seat and slouch
3. cut yer hair

you guys are probably around 6'8 or something....
I'm 6'1 and I fit in the max easily. My head is LOW and I think I still wouldn't hit the roof if I was another 7 inches taller. I recline back a lot, so when I sit I have to extend my hand fully to hold the steering wheel. With this position I sometimes feel cramped in the leg room.
Still tilt the seat back more and move it up, you sound like my friend who's like 5'9 and he hits the roof in his Camry because he sits too straight.

I want more headroom, too. I hate how my hair brushes the roof, and what makes it worse is that I hate reclining, too. Way too ghetto for me, and I don't like how you have to either fully extend your arms (I like mine to be relaxed) or you have to cramp your legs, which is not something I can put up with.
I'm only 6" tall, and I know this sounds strange, but my torso is very tall. Just different proportions from most of you guys, I'd guess. I just wear a hat alot when I'm driving to keep my hair off the ceiling.

Re: I have same problem as you, Maxwell.
im 6' 2" and i dont have a problem with headroom, my gxe has a sunroof toom my head has touched, but i do not ride way back or anything, in my dads mbz i hit my head in all seats, i cant even consider riding n the back of a mustang, eclipse, firebird, prelde, porsche, though i have done all with my legs sideways and a big time slouch

BTW, I have a GXE with a sunroof too. Just wanted to know if others w/ GXEs have a one-touch open & one-touch close sunroof. I remember a while back where people were complaining how the sunroofs were not one-touch, and found it odd since a friend & I had one.
I'm about 6' tall. No probs with headroom (even over bumps, I don't quite touch the ceiling). I think my legs are long though because I still have to bend a bit at the knee even when my seat is all slid all the way back.
I have a 99 SE-L with leather\sunroof and have the same problem.
I am only 5'10" and my brother also has a 99 SE-L without leather and with sunroof 5'10" same problem.
Both 5spd's.
Drives me nuts... my hair lightly brushing the roof.
