Since theres not much going on I thought I would ask a q. I have a friend with a new 330ci, it is stock, but I dont know if it is a stick or an auto. He wants to race, and I was wondering that my chances were of beating him with my 5spd with a Y pipe, and jwt pop charger?

Thanks

My buddy has a 2001 330, auto. nice car!!! Fast as $hit too. I don't think the max is going to beat it. It's going to be a close race though. Keep us posted, I'd like to know what the outcome is.

No Offense...

I love the Maxima and all, but if its a stick you shouldn't even bother racing him. He'll toast you

RACE HIM!

If he's an auto, it'll be close, if he's stick, it wont. Either way, you had fun and you learned something.

I usualy don't have a problem racing faster cars than me but this guy is a bit of an as* so I don't really want to loose. What would I need to beet him?

Yes, there is a huge difference...

Mzmtg is right that makes it all-wheel-drive, which raises the 0-60 MpH acceleration from 6.1 seconds to 6.4 seconds (assuming it is a manual). That give you a much larger chance because if he has 1 mis-shift or slip-up (which is much more likely in a new car) you are right on his *ss. Good luck, and even if you lose keep thinking how much faster he could have made a Maxima by not buying a BMW. Superchager, Cat-back, Y-Pipe, B-Pipe,...damn I can't begin to think of what that 30 grand could do...
