Cattman CAI
#1
Gotta question. I just received the Cattman (PR) CAI. In the instructions it states that "Metric nuts, washers, and bolts. Optimal size is 6x20mm or 8x20mm, approximate". What are these used for. I didn't see anything in the instructions. I didn't want to start the install until I am certain what these are going to be used for. Anyone?
TIA

Everything you need is in the package. I was puzzled by this too. Trust me, what bolts/nuts/screws you do need are from the stock unit, eg. bolts to the MAF, screws to the temp sensor on '95/'96, etc.
I used a 3" hole saw. Homedepot didn't have 3.25" and I though 3.5" was too big. It is VERY snug but I like it like that...not a chance that the tube is going to jiggle around. Also, had to make yet another stop to HD after I found out the hole saw was 1/2" drive. Had to get a 1/2" chuck for my 3/8" drill.

Thanks for the info! I thought that would be the case, since they did not mention anything in the instructions about these bolts. I went to ACE Hardware and found the 3 1/4" hole saw.
