Finally!!!!!!!!!

Finally, after long days of not having my car and gripin, I am getting a new transmission. The local Nissan dealer had to rebuild my transmissionh, and replace many parts afterwards, and the transmission still slipped bad. This past weekend, my car started leaking tranny fluid really bad, and the car was towed up to the dealer on monday. They looked at the car, and decided that the tranny was really jacked up, so they have ordered a NEW one, not rebuilt, tranny that should be here thursday, and then I get my car back friday. It's going to be great, too bad the waranty is void on everything now though, got 104k miles.

If they repaired your transmission, and it was still broken, would they not still be responsible for the damage that was not repaired? Please tell me you're not paying twice for this tranmission fix.

Damn my trans. was replaced under warranty they gave me a hard time at the dealer and said it wasnt going to be covered and it would cost 3300.00 for a remanufactured which is what I have now. All I had to do was call the main nissan branch and they covered it, it took a month cause the trans was on backorder.

I never paid for them to rebuild it the first time. It was covered under warranty becuase it messed up at about 97.5k miles. They are replacing it for free also. One of the things I love about Nissan, gripe at the enough, and you will get what you want, or atleast I did.
