Ecu: 0505

Okay, I know what the 0505 ECU code is, but can someone give me some ideas of what could cause this (bill99gxe's example was fuel pressure).

Your car is running normally. 0505 is the default code.

The factory causes this. All Maximas come out of the factory with Diagnostic Trouble Code 0505 as the default setting. It means there is no problem with the car, insofar as the Engine Control Module is able to detect.

I would just like to clarify the example was Daniel B. Martin's and not my own.

I'm sure Daniel will weigh-in on other examples based on his experience.

But, I would be certain your car is running fine.
