Heated Steering Wheel?

do you really need a heated steering wheel? i understand the heated seats cuz you're body's pretty much in that seat, but a steering wheel...personally, i think it would a waste of money. gloves would do fine...

Look i figured that If an Infiniti I35 can have something that hot why can't a hot car like a Max have one....

Friend has an '02 maxima with heated wheel, said it gets too hot, thermostat in there runs all the way hot and then shuts off for the rest of the ride. there is no way you can order a later model steering wheel, already tried that for a woodgrain '99 Limited wheel for my '97, they said all the electronics are different
