Hard to say

The gains don't feel like what they should, but it's definitely there. My car revs faster and hits any given speed faster. Unorthodox Racing claims the underdrive pulley to average a two point something horsepower gain per lb reduced. This is definitely not the case with the Maxima, but something is there.

Pros: Faster revving engine, more power to the ground, engine braking kicks in much faster (slow down faster while gear coasting), lose a few pounds of front weight, that's pretty much it.

Cons: It's counterproductive if you plan on supercharging and alternater cranks less.

That's all I can think of. Some say the crankcase will leak oil, but no Maxima has had that problem. Some say the A/C is not as cold, mine feels colder than before...if anything the fan less powerful (but then I have 4 settings). Some say your audio equipment is compromised, I'm running two amps at a total of 400 Watts RMS and I've had no problems with power, dimming, or anything.
