Annoying Back Windows...

Anybody know how to fix the back windows so that they roll ALL the way down? My 91 accord does and it looks so much better than that child proof stuff on my 97 Max. The local Nissan dealer said no way, they don't want to deal with any legality issues....hmmmm, but I'm sure there is a way. Let me know if you heard of anybody doing this...thanks..

you really can't

You see the way the rear door was designed, the window can't fit if it rolled down all the way. It would come out the bottom side of the door. It really doesn't bother me as I rarely roll the rear windows down. I always have the sunroof open or tilted and the fan on.

You could always just chainsaw out the bottom part of the door so the window falls to the bottom and you dont have to worry about it.

There ya go, you can drive with them open like UPS drivers do. Now that will give it that "pimp ride" your looking for.

Search.

Rear windows cannot roll all the way down. See if you can figure out why.

Use common sense.

Knowledge tells me that there are two reasons car manufacturers prevent the rear windows from fully coming down: Mechanically, it will not fit in the rear door when fully digressed and for child safety reasons...

but you seemed to have more common snense than knowledge, so hats off to you...i guess...

Well if you had that much knowledge then why ask the question in the first place?
