rear speaker replacement

rear speaker replacement

how do you go about replacing the rear speakers, in particular how do you take off the panel behind the rear seats (are there clips,screws)

You have to remove the entire rear seat...

Look it up in your handy chilton's or Haynes manual...

make sure...

that you have the maxima specific (size wise) speakers. i know mazda/ford specific speakers have the same mount size, but they're a real pain in the *** to actually work in there (hanging them from the bottom of the plate. I think it's 6x6 or something like that, check maximadriver.com for more details.
