i just finished making my tailights clear/red and i put in blue turn signal bulbs...the erally bright kinda blue-eurolite colored blue bulbs 1156...is that legal??? cuz they look and i dont wanna take em out...ill get a pic up soon maybe too

 

Blue = NO!

Use amber/yellow to be safe. White if you want to gamble. But blue is definately a no-no.

 

grrr...i liked the blue..theyre hot...man now i gotta take em off...i see maddd people in NYC with em...NY cops are too busy in the WTC and tryin to find terrorists...but i guess ill take em off to be on da safe side..thanx

 

be nice to other dirver and change them, it will scare and confuse the old people.

 

im using:
1) amber 1156 (blinker)
2)PolarG hyper RED 1157/194 for brakes

by the way they look sick at night and match up to my spolier led perfect when i hit the brake
i did this mainly cause the stock inner pieces didnt match to the new clear/red's i had made by DaveL. So i figured hyper red would do the trick, and it def did!
cost me $50 in bulbs too :-/

 

lol, you probably seen my max with the blue tail bulbs.
I live in Brooklyn, NY.....i travel to the city on the weekends when i can. I don't care what everyone says blue bulbs in the back as well as the front are hot. I've had so many heads turn to look at my lights at night. The only problem i see with the blue bulbs in the tailights is only during the day...u can't see them good at all cuz the flurencent light cover doesn't focus & spreed out the light across the whole tail light.
