Major Engine MOD boring

Is it possible to bore and do other major mods to the 1995 engine?
Anyone do this sorta thing?
If so what did it cost and what HP benefits did you get.

Yes it is possible. Yes people have done it. No, boring is not that expensive. Getting new pistons may be though.
