Watery Clutch pedal

I just finished changing the clutch in my 97 SE Maxima. The throw out bearing was demolished. Anyway, after changing the clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing I bled the clutch lines only through the slave cylinder. The last 5 times I repeated the bleeding process. The hydraulic fluid seem to be coming out in a steady stream. However the pedal feels very very soft, almost no kind of resistance. It pops back up find on its on, the gears all engage very smooth with no kind of shift shock just about. I was wandering, do I have to continue bleeding my lines, adjust the pedal, or simply let my clutch break in. Before my previous clutch went bad when I bought the car used, the clutch always felt tight as the gas pedal. Any educated response would be appreciated, thanks.

What kind of clutch did you take out?

Depending on the type of clutch the force of the clutch pedal can change dramatically. I went from an ACT S/S to an Exedy stock replacment and the difference was night and day.

Well I had a Nissan OEM clutch that I replaced with a Exedy OE Replacement Clutch.

The exedy is softer than the Nissan original. It works fine for stock cars, but it's not quite as snappy than the Nissan original, and much softer than the ACT stuff.

I like it better then my stock, possibly cause the stock was used but was said to of only had 15 thousand miles on it, however now when im drivin and i pop the clutch even if im going like 15 miles and hour she chirps into gear, i'm very satisifed, just the pedal feel super soft.
