maf question

so i have a question about my maf. im parting out my car and until my car got totalled my maf worked perfect, nothing wrong with it. its been sitting in my room for awhile and ive been trying to sell it but today i noticed when rotate my maf i can hear something loose inside of it. i dont ever remember this sound so im just wondering if it is suppose to sound like that. i dont want to sell it to someone obviously if something is broken.
thanks

It should be fine as long as the wire and the plate are still intact. Unless of course there is something damaged inside the housing. I will take it off your hands if you dont want it anymore.

IMO, if it was working well and still works well, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. A32 MAF’s are cheap these days, so I really don’t think it’s an issue.
